Alena Holišová works on the field of the design of household utility and decorative glass. She applies the refining technologies typical for the Karolinka plant – etched decorations on glass, especially by the technology of pantograph etching.

She is also the author of the stemware suites Angela, Charlotte, Eva, and Victoria, designed for the machine-made production, and of the amount of carafes, decanting carafes, and bottles both for machine and handmade production.

Alena Holišová is also a bearer of several honors for outstanding work, and awards for excellent design, CID.
